Our commitment.
“Our commitment at TIME for kids Informationstechnologien GmbH extends far beyond business. We proudly support the TIME for kids Foundation to make socially significant projects possible. This commitment is an expression of our deep responsibility for the education and development of our children and young people. We offer support wherever we can and accompany them on their journey through life.
Our projects are diverse and include areas such as recreational and competitive sports, creative planning and role-playing games as well as community-building activities that build bridges to school-related work with children and young people. A central concern in all our projects is the promotion of media skills in order to prepare young people for the challenges of the digital world. We believe that this holistic approach has a lasting positive impact on the development of young people.”
We move what !
“In line with the growing convergence of school and school-related work with children and young people, TIME for kids is actively committed to promoting popular and competitive sport. We combine this sporting promotion with the important goal of strengthening the media skills of children and young people. An outstanding example of our commitment in this area is the TIME for kids Cup Berlin. This event is not only a platform for sporting development and competition, but also an opportunity to promote and develop important skills in dealing with media. We firmly believe that this combination of physical activity and media education has a comprehensive and positive impact on the development of young people.”

Think global, work local.
“The concept of interdisciplinary teaching comes to life at TIME for kids through the promotion of planning and role-playing games such as the Model United Nations (MUN), a project that we have been supporting for over ten years. At these English-language conferences, hundreds of students are given the unique opportunity to take on the role of delegates from other nations. This experience enables them to understand and discuss the perspectives and challenges of other cultures and environmental conditions. Through this interactive and immersive learning experience, we not only promote language and diplomatic skills, but also a deep understanding of global connections and cultural diversity.”

Together in living spaces !
“Demographic change brings with it new challenges for living together and shaping our living spaces. In rural regions in particular, we are seeing increasing depopulation, which can have a long-term impact on the local community and infrastructure. At the same time, we are experiencing an ever-increasing density of life in large cities. As a result, housing and living space are becoming scarce and often expensive commodities. These developments require prudent and innovative action in order to create and maintain liveable and sustainable conditions in both rural and urban areas.”

“Although the isolation of people in today’s society is a challenge, there are numerous inspiring examples of community and intergenerational design of our living space. One expression of our commitment in this area is the Kiezfest organized by the Linse youth club in Berlin, a lively city festival that brings people of all ages together. Our children’s soccer teams in rural areas also help to strengthen the sense of community by participating in tournaments with family celebrations. These events are wonderful opportunities to promote interaction between different generations and at the same time strengthen cohesion in both urban and rural communities.”
